Nick Madarasz, DVM
Dr. Nick Madarasz, owner and DVM obtained his doctorate degree at the University of Veterinary Science in Budapest, Hungary. Upon returning to the United States in 1981, he moved to NC. He began working at a practice in Kannapolis for a little over a year before moving to Alamance County. In Alamance County he worked at a mixed animal practice for 6 years before opening his first small animal practice in Kernersville in 1989. On December 22, 1992 he expanded his business opening Westbrook Animal Hospital here in Burlington. Since 1998 when he sold his practice in Kernersville Westbrook Animal Hospital has been his sole focus.
Martha Cates, DVM
Associate veterinarian Dr. Martha Cates achieved a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from North Carolina State University and went on to complete her doctorate degree of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Dr. Cates joined Westbrook Animal Hospital on May 22, 1997 and continues to be an intricate part of this practice.
